ImarC markers offer unsurpassed visibility and flexibility for marking breast biopsies and other soft tissue tumor sites. They are the only tissue markers that are immediately and permanently visible under a variety of modalities, including:
- X-ray—plain film, digital,
mammography, CT - Ultrasound
- MRI—safe and visible at 3.0 Telsa
Available in two sizes, ImarC markers have a unique barbell shape for easy visualization and are compatible with a wide variety of biopsy devices, including end-port and side-port delivery systems. ImarC markers cause only minimal artifacts under MRI and will not interfere with PET scans. They are composed of biocompatible, pyrolytic, carbon-coated ceramic materials.
